Stratos Lab takes South African AI ambition to NVIDIA GTC Berlin

NVIDIA GTC Berlin AI Conference

Stratos Lab, a South African AI infrastructure provider, will attend NVIDIA GTC Berlin from the 20th to the 22nd of October 2026, bringing a practical proposition to the international AI community, one that combines powerful computing infrastructure in South Africa with the technical expertise organisations need to build, run and scale AI applications.

The event brings together developers, researchers and business leaders to explore the technologies underpinning AI, from processors and infrastructure to models and applications. For Stratos Lab, it is an opportunity to connect with organisations looking for GPU capacity, technology partners building the next generation of AI services, and enterprises working to move demanding workloads into production.

"African businesses and developers should have the infrastructure to build ambitious AI products here, with access to the computing power and technical support those projects demand. We are heading to Berlin to put South African AI infrastructure on the global agenda and build partnerships that give African businesses the computing power to turn ambition into working AI." — Chris Mostert, CEO of Stratos Lab

Headquartered in Johannesburg, Stratos Lab provides GPU-as-a-Service, dedicated computing infrastructure and managed platform services for enterprise and research applications. These services support the work behind AI products, including model training, inference and AI agents.

Its South African AI cloud brings together Stratos Lab's service and orchestration capabilities, ECOBLOX's systems integration expertise and Digital Parks Africa's hosting infrastructure. Built around NVIDIA HGX B300 systems supplied through GIGABYTE, the platform gives organisations access to advanced GPU computing on South African soil.

For local businesses, that creates an opportunity to develop and run AI applications closer to their data and operations. For international organisations, it opens a conversation about South Africa's role in supporting demanding AI workloads and the partnerships needed to grow that capacity.

Stratos Lab's focus in Berlin also extends to the software that manages the hardware. Its orchestration platform is designed to coordinate AI workloads across GPU clusters and cloud environments, helping organisations use their resources efficiently as their requirements grow.

"Access to GPUs is one part of the equation. Businesses also need to manage those resources effectively and understand how their infrastructure will support the next stage of growth. That is the conversation we want to have at GTC: what are you building, what does it need to run, and how can we help you get there?" — Chris Mostert, CEO of Stratos Lab

The company's attendance places South African infrastructure and technical expertise in a global discussion about AI deployment. It also gives prospective customers and partners an opportunity to speak directly with the team about local GPU services, workload orchestration and infrastructure requirements.

Developers, enterprise teams and technology partners attending NVIDIA GTC Berlin can arrange a meeting with Stratos Lab at events@stratoslab.com. Further information is available at stratoslab.co.za.
